It is a joint English Heritage and English Nature publication and provides an introduction to the historic and wildlife conservation management issues for cemeteries. It covers designations, plans, care of memorials, and includes an extensive reading list and useful contacts.
On 1 April 2015 the part of English Heritage represented on this website changed its name to Historic England. You may notice that some of our content still refers to English Heritage.
