Church of St Hugh and attached vestry, Monks Road, Lincoln - Lincoln
City centre church of 1892-3 by Albert Vicars with a history of stone failure. By 2018, the condition of masonry, particularly the spire, tower and pinnacles at the base of the spire was poor. Past inappropriate render repairs were failing and there has been several falls of masonry and render fragments. Repairs were tendered in early 2020 to inform an application to the National Lottery Heritage fund but the scheme was suspended in March due to Covid-19. Scaffolding was erected in 2020 to protect passers-by and repairs were completed in 2021.
