Stable block and riding school, Wentworth Woodhouse, Wentworth - Rotherham

Monumental stable block and riding school, built in 1768 to the design of John Carr of York, to the northwest of the house. The property of the Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust. The roof coverings are deteriorating and there is erosion to the stonework, particularly inside the courtyard. The Riding School has been reroofed. Work is underway, supported by Levelling Up and Historic England grants, to repair and convert the southwest portion of the stable courtyard and the Mews Court to facilities to support the work of the Trust.
