II
Hunting lodge, now 3 flats. C16, c1902 by Seddon & Jones and c1920. English bond brickwork with stone slate roof. Two storeys and attics, 3 bays. High brick plinth with stone chamfered water sill, and moulded string. One 1st floor original 2-light window with hollow chamfers and label hood. Other windows inserted 20- pane sashes with brick soldier heads. Block extended c1890 by single bay to right. Flat roof porch with stone mullioned window and coved eaves rising to point over ogee headed door. Building has central stack with 3 rebuilt diagonal shafts, and gable stack before later extension with shafts missing. Attached to this building is a large pebbledashed house covering west side, c1920, not of special interest.
