2/44 Rockworks and Pond 24/10/84 Approx 80 metres South-West of Merrow Grange (formerly listed a part of Rockwork Grotto) GV II

Rockworks and pond. Circa 1907 by James Pulham and Son. Pulhamite stone, i.e. clinker with Portland cement poured over it with some sandstone blocks and earth. Randomly laid rocks around a pond with an island to the centre of it. One of a number of garden features in the grounds of Merrow Grange. Merrow Grange Gardens included in Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in England (Part 40 - Surrey) as Grade II. Now in the grounds of Fairlawns, Lauston Close (8 metres south of Fairlawns).
