WORCESTER COLLEGE 1. 1485 North Range SP 5006 NE 4/132A 12.1.54. I 2. On North-East is a range of C15 camerae now converted to Senior Common Room and rooms. The part East of the central pediment for the width of 8 windows was built in 1735-59 to design of Dr George Clarke by his trustee in Headington stone. John Townesend being the mason; the latter seems to have designed the North elevation, for Clarke left no design for this. The pedimented centrepiece of 3 windows and the West part of 8 windows was built, with the Provost's Lodging further West, in 1773-6 to the design of Henry Keene. An attic floor was added to the North range in 1926. Major alterations in 1966.
