TG 2407 NW HARDY ROAD (east side) 31/370 1.4.82 No. 10 (Ebeneezer) GV II Former railway manager's house. Mid C19 (1847) by Grissell & Peto, builders/architects to the Norfolk Railway Company. Red brick (colour-washed); hipped slate roof; 3 yellow brick chimneys. L-plan; 2 -storeys; irregular fenestration. Facade at right-angles to street has panelled (half-glazed) door with plain overlight in projecting porch with 4-centred head and pediment. Casement window to right and another in adjacent single-storey wing. Plain string course. This house forms part of a unique group of planned workers' dwellings in Norwich City.
