GV II

Row of 3 houses, now 2 houses, shop and inn. Early to mid-C19, possibly rebuilding of earlier building, with late C20 alterations. Stuccoed (probably on rubble) with slate roof. 2 and 3 storeys. Integral brick end-stack to left and 2 brick ridge-stacks off-centre to left and right. 5-window front; 3 second floor 2-light metal casements to right; 4 first floor sashes to right (2 to right of 4 panes and 2 to left with glazing bars) and mid-to-late C20 three-light casement to left; projecting mid-C19 former shop front to right with slate roof, small-paned shop window to left and 4-panelled door to right with rectangular overlight; inn entrance off-centre to right with 6 flush-panelled door, rectangular overlight and moulded architrave, flanked by 2 mid-to-late C19 wooden cross windows; house and shop to left with late C20 three-light case- ments and C20 boarded door to left, and mid-to-late C19 shop front to right with segmental arch over small-paned shop window to right and glazed door to left. 2 wrought iron inn-sign brackets between second and third first floor windows from right.
