5/86 Lower terrace to west - of Condover Hall

GV II

Terrace wall. Probably early C19. Uncoursed sandstone rubble with stone coping. Low stone wall approximately 150m in length terminating in square corner bastions to north and south. At north-west corner of main terrace the wall carries round in a curve terminating in a square pier, surmounted by a grotesque statue (q.v.).
