Chest Tomb. 1635. Ham stone, rectangular plan. Base below ground, plain sides and flanks, with brass plaques one side and one flank, dentil moulded flat top. Commemorates William Whitbye, died 1635 and his wife. (Francis Goulding, Ashington, Chilton Cantelo, Mudford: the Story of Three Somerset Parishes, 1982).
