Public House. Mid C18 with additions of C19. Squared rubble and dressed stone with a slate roof and brick stack. Double- depth 2-bay 3-storey house with adjoining barn to left and C19 1-bay extension to right. Lean-tos to rear and small brick extension. The original house has a central door with square-cut surround and 3 and 4-light flat-faced mullion windows on each floor, recessed on ground and first. The barn has a segmental-arched cart door and a square-cut door surround to the left (both now blocked). 2-bay pub facade added to right with a central door, 4 windows with wedge lintels stone sills and C20 casements, and a hipped roof.
