SD91 SW MILNROW CLEGG HALL ROAD (south side) 3/86 Nos. 3, 4, 5 and 6 (formerly Nos. 1 to 8 consecutive, 20/11/80 back-to-back) G.V. II 4 cottages, originally 8 back-to-back cottages. Late C18/early C19. Hammer-dressed watershot stone with graduated stone slate roof. Each house has one bay and 3 storeys. Quoins and ridge chimney stacks. Both front and rear elevations of each cottage have a door with square-cut surround, windows to the ground and first floors with square-cut surrounds and flat-faced mullion workshop windows on the second floor of either 4 or 6 lights. All windows have C20 casements. Additional door in left gable. C20 window openings in right gable.
