SOMERFORD KEYNES EWEN SU 09 NW 8/185 The Wild Duck Inn
II Inn. Reputed to be 1563 in part, enlarged to both sides and to rear in C20. Rubble stone, stone slate roof, external stone stack to single storey section, stone end stacks to tall section, external to right. Main part a single long range at 2 heights. Tall section to right of 2 storeys and attic with single small 2- light stone mullion casement in centre on first floor and small 2- light wood casement with timber lintel below on ground floor. Single storey section to left has wide entrance door of C20 to right with slightly cambered stone hood, and very small arched light to left. Chamfered beams and large cambered bressumer fireplace to this section.
