Former snuff and tobacco factory, now workshop. C18. In kidney flint with red brick dressings; tiled mansard roof with a brick parapet and band. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and attic; set back and at right angles to the street. C20 replacement windows; double garage-type doors. The flint walling continues on the east side in a stretch of high garden wall which links up with the side of No.65 (qv). To the west, a house adjoins the factory, now roughcast with a flat roof following fire damage to the top storey in the 1960s. INTERIOR: 3 bays on the ground storey and 2 bays above, overlapping with the adjoining house. Open timber ceilings to both storeys, with joists and cross-beams set on edge; roof with rafters on edge and a ridge piece. To the west, a cross-wing, formerly part of the house, but now a salesroom, is in 4 bays with only the main ceiling beams exposed.
