EGGESFORD SS 61 SE 1/54 Churchyard cross approximately - 4m south of tower of Church of 26.8.65 All Saints GV II

Churchyard cross. Probably C15. Granite Plain Latin cross carved from a single piece of stone. It stands approximately 1.6m high with unusually long arms. All the edges are chamfered. The cross seems to be set in the earth and gives the impression of being the top part of a once taller cross.
