Piers, railings and gates as street boundary. l840. Rendered piers and dwarf walls and cast iron railings and gates. Two piers c.600 mm square and 2.5 m high to pyramid cappings; sunk panels to moulded edge, plinth, linked by raking wall, c.1 m high, capped with cast iron railings to c.2 m. Railing returns at top corner to gable end, and to right, at c.600 m height across the front of the two houses to the front of Kingsland (qv) with which railings and piers are continuous. At right a gate in detail as railings. Important to the ensemble.
