Large detached house. Early C19. Stuccoed with cement paint finish. Slate roof with large pedimented gable ends and paired brackets to oversailing eaves. Double depth plan. Band at first floor level. Two storeys and attic 2:1:2 bay. Plain tall sash windows with glazing bars. Steps to wide central porch with two pairs of Tuscan columns supporting entablature and glazed and panelled double-doors. Bullseye windows with glazing bars in tympanae of pedimented end gables, and round-headed stair window at north east side. Two plain rendered chimney stacks just in front of ridge.
Interior: vaulted plaster hall ceiling, plain staircase with stick balusters and wreathed handrail. Landing has modillion cornice. Rooms with marble chimney- pieces and moulded cornices, the drawing room having original metal pelmets.
