Werret Chest Tomb, 7.5 metres north of north-east corner of War Memorial Lych Gate

Chest tomb. Richard Werret, died 1793. Also Albert John Werret, died 1954 and Mary Ann Tratman, died 1968. Limestone ashlar. Central inscribed panel with enriched C-scroll surround; oval end panels; corner balusters; moulded plinth and cornice.

The chest tombs represent a good collection of local and classical tomb forms and contribute greatly to the setting of the church.
