Double Locks, at junction with Dewsbury Cut
II
Two canal locks. Circa 1769. Engineer John Smeaton. Rough stone
sides with some repair work. Concrete copings The two locks are
separated by an elliptical basin of the same build. Both locks with
wooden gates but recent steel box section push-bars.
