Former vicarage, converted in C19 from C18 granary. Squared stone except for snecked stone north wing; cut dressings. Graduated Lakeland slate roof except for Welsh slates on north wing. Front elevation in 2 parts: On left is gable end of main range, 3 storeys and attic, with 2 windows to each main floor and one to attic; all 4-pane sashes in alternating-block surrounds, with slightly-projecting sills. To right is C19 north wing, 2 storeys and 2 bays; with segmental-arched entrance in left bay; canted pyramid-roofed oriel to right bay; all windows 4-pane sashes. Coped right end gable with stepped-and- corniced end stack. Left return shows 4-pane sashes, one gabled roof dormer, and various blocked openings; roof hipped to left; stepped-and- corniced ridge and left end stacks.
