2/95 The Bustard Inn 18.4.78 G.V. II
Inn. 1860. Coursed squared limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, slate roofs with raised stone coped gables and moulded kneelers. Single ridge and wall stacks with 3 and 2 octagonal funnels having billet moulded capitals. Assymetrical cross plan. An advanced gabled bay has a tall 3 light mullioned window to the ground floor and a matching 2 light window above, both with chamfered mullions and moulded cornices. In the gable a sunk quatrefoil bears the date 1860. To right a pyramidal roofed porch contains a 9 panelled door with glazed top in a pointed and chamfered surround. To the right side is a small oriel window with cross mullioned glazing bar casement and embattled parapet with gable.
