II
Farmhouse, now a house. Late C18, with extensive additions built by a Colonel Harris in 1909, largely demolished in 1975. Brick, rendered and whitewashed with hipped slate roofs. Plinth, first floor band, deep moulded eaves, single lateral and single ridge brick stacks. 2 storeys plus garrets, 5 bays. L-plan. East front has a central gabled porch with recessed front containing 2 fluted Ionic columns flanking a 6 panel door. In either side, a margin pane fixed light. On either side, 2 full height glazing bar sashes with moulded architraves and hoods. Above the door, a triple sash flanked by 2 smaller glazing bar sashes on each side. South end has to right a full height sash similar to those at the front. North end has an off-centre C20 glazed door. Rear elevation has irregular fenestration, mainly late C20. Interior has entrance hall with 2 fluted columns with lotus leaf capitals, picture rail and enriched moulded cornice. Square stair well with enriched cornice and foliate ceiling boss contains a late C18 cantilevered wooden staircase with turned balusters and ramped scrolled handrail. North east ground floor room has moulded cornice and C19 marble fireplace. South west room has a similar fireplace. Doors have 4 fielded panels.
