SOUTH HINKSEY
Barn approximately 50m north east of Hinksey Hill Farmhouse
(Formerly listed as Hinksey Hill Farm, barn approx. 20m. NE of farmhouse. Previously listed under North Hinksey)

Barn, later store. Dated 1776 on tie beam. Coursed limestone rubble; half-hipped stone slate roof. L-plan of four and four bays. Dressed quoins to threshing floor entries, which have hipped midstreys to rear.
Interior: collar-truss roofs with butt purlins: braced post at junction between two barns. Barn on left, distinguished by pup-hog/ventilation holes and more irregular masonry, probably has earlier origins.
