GV II

Baptist Chapel. c1868. Brick with stucco detailing, and vermiculated stucco plinth; Welsh slate roof; roughcast stack to rear gable. Single storey; 3-window range: round-headed single mullion windows with glazing bars, in moulded stucco architraves with springers and keyblocks, set between stucco pilasters, flanking group of 3 similar windows; entablature with modillioned cornice to pediment with dentilled eaves, and circular light in stucco architrave with keyblocks and inscription. Central paired entrances with C20 plank doors with cast-iron tendril hinges; plain fanlights in chamfered wood frames; stucco doorcases with linked moulded arches with keyblocks, on pilasters. Left returned side: plank doors in chamfered frame, under stucco screen with keyblock; round-headed windows with single mullions, under semi-circular arches. Right returned side and rear: roughcast; three 2/2 sashes; blocked opening to gable; further 2/2 sashes to ground floor.
