Block of terraced houses. Early C19. Stucco. Roof not visible. 3 storeys and
attic. Each house 2 windows wide, except end houses, which 1 window wide; No 16
with 4-bay return to Ebury Street and rounded corner with entrance. To Lower
Belgrave Street, balanced terrace; end houses break forward slightly with coupled
giant pilasters rising through first and second storeys (Doric to right,
Corinthian to left). Corinthian pilasters between houses. Shops, mainly C20, to
ground floor, square headed architraved sashed windows; glazing bars. French
casements to first floor. Cornice above second floor. Subsidiary cornice above
third floor. Parapet. Elevation to Ebury Street also treated as balanced
composition with pilasters.
