GV II Corner public house. Early C19. Stucco faced, slate roof. Four storeys. Three windows wide to Romilly Street, two-window return to Greek Street and rounded corner. Ground panelled and glazed doors and bar windows set back behind twelve slender, fluted, cast iron columns with enriched necks, carrying entablature-fascia. Upper floors have recessed sash windows, no glazing bars, those on first floor with elongated consoles to corners. Sill band to third floor and cornice and blocking course overall.
