Stable building. Probably 1736, contemporary with Matfield House and other buildings in the stable courtyard. Flemish bond brick to the ground floor, first floor tile hung; peg-tile roof.

Plan: Facing west, rectangular on plan, and forming the west boundary of the courtyard. C19 outshut added at south end.

Exterior: 2 storeys. Roof half-hipped at ends, the hip eaves projecting. Moulded fascia at first floor level. Asymmetrical 6-window front with 5 first floor 2-light casement windows, 6 panes per light and a similar window to ground floor left. Approximately central sliding doors with flush panels, doorway to right with 6 fielded panels. The left (north) return has a C18 plank door with a small-pane fixed window alongside, a small-pane sliding sash to the first floor with a C20 one-light alongside and above them, a 2-light opening, one light glazed. The right (south) return has a lean-to roof over the outshut with brick cogging below the eaves, a 2-light casement with square leaded panes and probably C20 2-leaf plank door in the centre. 3-light casement to the first floor.

Interior: Not inspected but may be of interest.
