Farmhouse. Mid C17, altered, raised and extended early C19, with further alteration and extension C20. Coursed rubble sandstone with quoins, plain gables, brick gable chimneys with clay pots, and stone slated roof coverings. North elevation. Three storeys, three bay main range with lower two storey range against east gable. Central advanced full height porch, with single off centre doorway below massive lintel. Plain plank door. East bay with two light C19 glazing bar casement, within former C17 or C18 opening of three lights. Blocked light of earlier window with remains of wooden surround, all below continuous drip mould. Single 2 light C20 casement to first floor, and to west bay. South elevation with stacked window openings beneath wedge lintels, of two and three lights. round floor openings inserted below hoodmoulds and labels of former C17 mullioned windows, the inner jambs of both surviving. Above, three light casements, with projecting stone cills and wedge lintels, to first and second floors. C20 joinery. Stone lean-to to eastern bay covers junction with lower range, and links with C20 lean to. Both additions enclose ground floor of lower range. West gable now covered by lined-out cement render, and incorporating full-height external stack, and a two light chamfer-mullioned window beneath a drip mould, all now rendered. INTERIOR C17 two bay range with exposed spine beams and joists to ground and first floor rooms. Slightly cambered hearth beam to eastern ground floor room, with C18 stone surround and massive lintel, now with brick hearth. Plain plank doors, some unpainted, and with random width boarding, set within framed-up doorcases which are chamfered.
