2/31 Sundial 3 metres from south-east end of St Luke's Church

GV II

Sundial, 1798 (carved on base). Sandstone, vase shaped 900mm high on scotia moulded octagonal pedestal and 900mm square base. The main column has an ogee neck, a ring head and an ogee moulded cap with bronze plate secured by lead inserts. The plate is marked in Roman numerals but the gnomon is damaged.
