House formerly inn with attached buildings. House dated '1758 RLA'; outbuildings partly rebuilt C20. Roughcast stone, graduated slate roof. House of 2 storeys and 2 windows to 1st floor; outbuildings in elongated range under lower roof on right. House: gabled central porch with 9-pane casement to front and part-glazed door in each side. C20 casements with glazing bars have projecting stone sills and painted surrounds; date plaque over porch. End stacks. Outbuildings: part adjacent to house forms domestic accommodation and has external stone steps leading to an elongated landing with door and window under and 2 doorways over (1 now glazed). Casement to ground floor on left of steps; small casements flank the 1st-floor doorways. Remainder of outbuildings extensively remodelled. INTERIOR of house: room entered via door beneath steps has C18 ashlar fireplace with corbels and cornice.
