Former manor house. C16 core, extended to left hand side; early C19 casing to
facade, probably added when the house was divided into 2. A single long
range. Older part with timber framed core; facade of random flint with white
brick dressings; red brick to left hand gable end, the remainder cement-
rendered; plaintiled roof. Mainly 2 storeys. 6 windows, 3:3, mid C20 large
pane casements, segmental arches. 2 doorways: to left hand side a later C18
6-panel door, the upper 4 panels glazed, panelled reveals, pilasters and
entablature with triangular pediment; to right hand side a C19 9-panel door,
the upper 3 panels glazed. Brick eaves dentil cornice. Internal stack and
gable end stack to left hand side. The datestone "WK1857" on the right hand
gable end is apparently a modern import. Interior largely modernised.
