KINGSTON-UPON-THAMES LEATHERHEAD ROAD, OFF (east side) Coal Duty Boundary Post. (Approximately 500m east of the road and 650m south of Rushett Farm, at the edge of Ashtead Wood)

II Square cast iron post erected under the London Coal and Wine Duties (Continuance) Act 1861. Inscribed "4 ' 25 VICT/CAP 42" with the City of London's coat of arms on the head. Cast by Henry Grissell at the Regents Canal Ironworks, Eagle Wharf Road, Hoxton.
