THE CLOSE 1. 1594 East boundary wall to back garden of No 54. SU 1429 NW 3/18B II GV 2. Massive east boundary wall of flint rubble and diagonally set tiles tiled capping, reuse possibly of Old Sarum material. Dating back probably to Lord Hungerford' s Chantry.

All the listed buildings in the Close form an outstanding group.
