2. Early C19 terrace of 3 storeys and basement. No 37 has 3 windows, Nos 39-45 have 2. Yellow stock brick. Stucco frieze, cornice and blocking course concealing roof. Stucco band at 1st floor cills. Gauged brick arches to recessed sash windows with glazing bars, flat on 1st and 2nd floors, round on ground floor for both doors and windows. No 37 Ground floor openings in round arched recesses with stucco spring string. 5 stone steps to 4-panel door with guilloche moulded cornice head and patterned fanlight. Wrought iron hand and area railings. No 39: 4 steps to replaced door, with cornice head and patterned fanlight, in round arched recess. Cast iron area railings. No 41 3 steps to altered, 6-panel door, with guilloche moulded cornice head and patterned fanlight, in round arched recess. Modern, plain, wrought iron area railings. No 43 Original door of 6 equal panels, with cornice head and plain fanlight, in round arched recess. Area opened up and old cast iron railings used to form handrail of bridge to front door. No 45 ground floor front of 2 windows in round arched recesses with stone spring string. Entrance on return. Modern double door with guilloche moulded cornice head and plain fanlight.
Nos 23 to 45 (odd) form a group.
