II Farmhouse, now a house. Mid C17, the centre rebuilt c.1700, with
C19 alterations and left gable rebuilt late C20. Coursed and
squared ironstone and brick with limestone ashlar dressings and
slate roofs. First floor band, single coped gable. Single stone
gable stack, single brick ridge and gable stacks. 2 storeys, 5
bays. H-plan. East front has recessed centre with, to right,
early C19 ashlar doorcase with moulded hood on brackets and 6
panel door. To its left, 2 C20 cross casements. To its right, a
small C20 casement. Above, 2 similar cross casements and beyond,
to right, a small plain sash. These windows have plain stone
architraves. Left gable has a 3 light C20 casement and above, a
similar smaller casement. Right gable has a 2 light mullioned
cellar opening with moulded surround. Above it, and above
again, a C19 2 light casement with a wooden lintel. Rear has
mainly late C19 and C20 fenestration. Return angle, to left, has
remains of a mullioned casement. North end has to left, a 3
light mullioned casement with hood mould, and to right a C20
French window with flanking lights. Above, 2 C19 casements.
South end has to left, a lean-to addition, and to right, the
remains of a mullioned casement. Above, a C19 and C20 casement.
