FORD A 697 NT 93 NW (West side) 10/63 The Blue Bell II
Public house, formerly a coaching inn. Late C18. Brick in English Garden Wall Bond. Slightly later additions to rear, random rubble with ashlar dressings; pantiled roofs.
Main block 2 storeys, 3 bays. 12-pane sashes in plain reveals with flat brick arches. Right bay has 9-pane sash on 1st floor and, on ground floor, projecting single-storey one-bay wing with 12-pane sash. Gabled roof with tumbled-in brickwork. Two C20 brick ridge stacks.
Attached to right a slightly-later single-storey extension also in brick, extended to right in stone later in C19.
Doorway to rear.
Extension to rear has to left a two-storey, one-bay section with 12-pane sashes and to right a single-storey, 2-bay section.
