GV II

Monument to Queen Victoria on island site at junction with Promenade. Dated 1903; by George Frampton, RA. White granite plinth, bronze statue. High stone plinth, and large standing figure of the queen holding sceptre and orb. Forms group with former Victoria Baths, Promenade (qv).
