St Nicolas Church was built in 1125 with later additions and possesses a rare wooden tower. A medieval priest's house nestles within the churchyard and West Sussex Literary Trial footpaths also run through grounds. The church is set within a conservation area and manages its wild areas to promote flora and fauna.


Opening Arrangements

9.30am to 5.30pm daily.


4 miles south of Horsham. From Horsham take A264 (Bognor Regis direction). At Slinfold pass the Toyota Toll House garage on your right. Turn left directly after the hump-backed bridge. Continue up Fulfords Hill. Turn right into Church Approach. By Rail: Christs Hospital station 1.5 miles; Horsham station 4.5 miles. There is no bus route or service to the church.
