C16 gatehouse and precinct wall. Major structural repair to the gatehouse necessary due to lack of maintenance. Some flint facing falling away. Destructive ivy growth. Several damaged copings. Repairs to the precinct wall also necessary. A Historic England Repair Grants for Heritage at Risk grant was awarded in 2017. Further work needed.
