Church of St Vincent, Chilton Cantelo - Somerset Council (UA)
Parish church i tiny comm. C13 and later. Local stone with Ham stone dressings and banded clay tile roof. Nave and Chancel with south porch and western bell turret. C13 fenestration to chancel C15 traceried windows and door to nave. Reordered in 1878 but retaining C17 box pews, pulpit with tester and readers desk. The parish has managed to repair the roof and interior but the C15 bellcote is in poor structural condition and temporarily repaired with strapping. Very small parish with limited resources.
