Church of St Peter, Hornblotton, West Bradley (DET) - Somerset Council (UA)

Anglican Parish Church 1872-4 designed by Sir TG Jackson. Ham stone Doulting dressings, tile roofs with tilestone eaves, coped verges, tile hung tower and tiled broach spire. Nave, south porch, vestry and organ loft, chancel, west tower. Notable for its very unified high quality and unaltered interior; the first sgraffito revival interior, executed in two colours, also fine mosaic floor and good stained glass by Powell and Sons and first electric striking clock. Chancel reroofed in 2021. Emergency re-roofing of nave early 2023. Sgraffito badly cracked and detatching from the wall in places.
