Church of St Mary, Church Road, Arlingham - Stroud
Large rural church in a small village. West tower, nave and east chancel with a south entrance porch. C14, restored c1868 and with north vestry of 1864. Roughcast faced, with ashlar tower and dressings. Stone slate roofs with coped verges. Three-stage tower with stepped diagonal buttresses, with parapet of pierced trefoils, and pitched roof. The south roof slopes are badly in need of repair. A Covid Recovery Fund Grant developed a repair project.
