Church of St Michael, South Newington Road, Barford St. John and St. Michael - Cherwell
Dating from the C12, the Norman tower, north and south doorways remain. Much of the church was remodelled in the C13. It is built of regular coursed ironstone rubble with dressed stone copings and slate roofs. At risk due to the poor condition of the roofs, spalling stonework and undersized rainwater goods.
