Church of St Peter, Church Lane, Billingford - Breckland

Parish church of the C14 with later extension. Constructed from flint with ashlar dressings and a slate and tile roof. The church is located to the north of the village and maintained in regular use for worship. Windows in poor condition admitting birds inside building causing health and safety issues. The building is excessively damp and the tower hasn't been accessed for inspection purposes since 2006. Early in 2024 parish cleared pigeons and building back in use. Repair schemes being considered for south porch, windows and drainage.
