Church of St John, St John's Road, Huddersfield - Kirklees

Victorian church by William Butterfield with tower and spire. Works to stabilise and repair the east end of the church and to repair the roofs on the north side of the church were carried out with grant-aid under a Heritage Lottery Fund and Historic England Repair Grant for Places of Worship. Further phases of repair work are still required. A Heritage Lottery Fund Grants for Places of Worship Repair grant was accepted in 2018 and repairs to the south side of the church are underway.
