Church of St Mary the Virgin, Church Lane, Ludgershall - Buckinghamshire (UA)

Largely C14 church with C19 restorations. The nave, porch and north and south aisles were re-roofed, and the decaying roof structure repaired. Repair work to the tower roof, tower stonework, repointing, rainwater goods and drainage also now completed. Both phases were supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Historic England Repair Grants for Places of Worship scheme. The timber belfry structure has been repaired. A National Lottery Heritage Fund Grants for Places of Worship grant application was unsuccessful, but internal repairs to damaged plasterwork need to be addressed.
