Church of Holy Trinity, Hillgate, Gedney Hill - South Holland
Parish church dating from the late-C14 and mid-C15, restored by James Fowler of Louth in the 1870s. The church is unusual for Lincolnshire in its internal timber frame and fine timber nave arcades. There are deeply eroded sections of pointing to the tower, decay to structural timbers to the tower roof and water ingress via the tower roof covering. Re-covering of part of the south aisle roof is also required. Ongoing support and advice is being provided by the Diocesan Historic Churches Support Officer.
