Parish Church. C12 to C16, with C19 work. Coursed rubble with ashlar dressings, mainly ironstone with some limestone. Chancel rebuilt C13. Coursed rubble with ashlar dressings. Mainly ironstone and some limestone. John Donne, preacher and metaphysical poet was the Rector of Blunham 1621-31. South porch roof repaired through an Historic England Covid19 emergency grant. High level masonry is in poor condition. Damage to walls caused by damp as well as water ingress in the south and north aisle roofs. Replacing the South aisle roof and related masonry work to the clerestory parapets most urgent.
