Church of St James, East Cowes - Isle of Wight (UA)

A C19 church by local Isle of Wight architect T Hellyer. Constructed in Romanesque style of stone rubble with slated roof. Incorporates tower of earlier 1830s church by John Nash. Nash is buried in the church yard. Repairs, including to the rainwater goods and south transept rose window, have been completed but further works are required to address the structural problems to the north vestry.
