Church of St John the Baptist, East Down - North Devon
Parish church sited adjacent to the manor house. Surviving C13 fabric to tower, C15 south aisle and some C19 work. The congregation is steadily working through repairs. Roof repairs were completed under the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Historic England Repair Grants for Places of Worship scheme in 2005. Tower is very damp and has structural issues with significant cracking. Condition of windows also remains poor.
